President Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the complex international landscape at the outset of his speech during the session of the people’s deputies kengash (council) in Tashkent on April 3, as reported by his press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

“We live in difficult and dangerous times. Solutions are not found to solve the conflicts in the Middle East and between our main partners. Moreover, the international landscape is becoming even more serious as a result of the heinous terrorist attack in the Moscow region,” the president stated.

“In such a difficult situation, one of the most important tasks is to reduce the adverse impact on Uzbekistan’s economy and incomes of the population,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized.

“Therefore, it is necessary to fully utilize the available opportunities to strengthen the economic foundation of the mahalla and increase incomes of the population,” Sherzod Asadov quoted the president.

Recently, the president held a meeting on facilitating Uzbekistan citizens' access to foreign labor markets and providing employment for those returning from labor migration.
