Updated plans for construction of first toll roads in Uzbekistan approved
The construction of Tashkent-Samarkand toll road is expected to begin in December. with transfer of management to a private operator by late 2028. The plans for Tashkent-Andijan, Samarkand-Bukhara and other toll road projects have also been approved.

Tashkent-Andijan toll road project estimated at $4.6 billion, says deputy transport minister
The Tashkent-Andijan toll road project will cost $4.65 billion, deputy transport minister of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriyev said. The feasibility study is expected to be completed by the end of June. He also mentioned the Trans-Afghan railway and other projects.
