On the morning of April 10, mosques across Uzbekistan held celebratory prayers to mark the conclusion of Ramadan. This year’s namaz took place amidst heightened security measures, which were reinforced following a recent terrorist attack near Moscow.

In Tashkent, namaz was observed in 125 mosques. Gazeta.uz correspondent Yevgeny Sorochin visited the city’s oldest mosque, Khoja Ahrar Vali, situated near Chorsu Square. Additionally, Atul Annadate from India shared photos with the editorial office from the Minor Mosque, where his compatriots and representatives from various countries joined thousands of worshippers in prayer.
