On April 5, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Uzbekistan, upon the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The talks, to be held in Khiva, will encompass “topical issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as broadening multifaceted cooperation”.

The agenda will include discussion on increasing bilateral trade volume, fostering collaboration in key economic sectors, implementing infrastructure projects in transportation and energy, and bolstering humanitarian exchange programs.
