Shuhrat Kadirov has been appointed as new director-general of Uzbektelecom (UZTELECOM), national telecommunications operator of Uzbekistan, the company said.
His previous position, from March 2015, was director of UZMOBILE, national mobile operator and subsidiary of Uzbektelecom.
On the new post, Kadirov replaced Abdurashid Abdumuminov, who headed the company from March 2013.
