Central Bank of Uzbekistan issued a license for banking operations to a new private joint-stock commercial bank, Madad Invest Bank, CBU press service.
The amount of banks in the country has thus reached 27, including 3 state banks, 11 joint-stock commercial banks, 8 private banks and 5 banks with foreign capital.
