Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on 24 October awarding staff of the internal affairs bodies in relation with their professional holiday, which is celebrated on 25 October.
A large group of staff was awarded with orders Mehnat Shuhrati, Shon-Sharaf (2nd degree), Dustlik and Mardlik, medals Jasorat, Sodiq Khizmatlari Uchun and Shukhrat.
The state awards have been announced for “years of selfless work to ensure public security, peace and stability in the country, courage and bravery in the course of duty and protection of national interests, as well as contribution to the education of the young generation in the spirit of devotion to the Motherland”, the decree says.
