Foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan signed a cooperation program for 2016−2017, press service of Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry said.
The signing took place at meeting of foreign ministers of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev in Tashkent on 19 October.
Erlan Abdyldaev arrived in Uzbekistan as head of Kyrgyz delegation at the 43rd session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Islamic Cooperation Organization.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of Uzbek-Kyrgyz cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats and expressed mutual interest in intensifying bilateral contacts at various levels.
