Mi-171 helicopter of Defense Ministry of Uzbekistan crashed in Ferghana valley on 18 October. The aircraft was carrying out a scheduled flight, the ministry press service said.
Three members of the crew and six Defense Ministry servicemen, who were on board, died. A special commission has been set up to investigate the incident.
The country’s leadership expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims.
