Over 100 swimmers from several countries, including Uzbekistan, Russia, China and others, participated in the international tournament Suv Parisi (Mermaid) that took place in Tashkent on 21−25 September.
Uzbekistan was represented by 50 swimmers from Tashkent, Andijan, Samarkand and Bukhara.
In individual competitions Uzbek athletes swept the podium among under 12-year-old participants, and won bronze medals in groups A (16−18 years) and B (13−15). In pair performances, Uzbek swimmers won bronze and silver medals.
