Adolat to nominate its leader as candidate for President

VI Plenary Session of the Political Council of Social Democratic Party Adolat was held on 17 September, press service of the party says. The party’s participation at December presidential elections was discussed during the session.

“Based on the will of the electorate and party supporters,” the Political Council will nominate its head and faction leader in Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) Majitovich Nariman Umarov as candidate for president at the December presidential elections, supported by the plenum. His official nomination as presidential candidate will be announced at the VIII party’s Kurultai (congress).

Members of the Political Council of the party noted that the future candidate for President Nariman Umarov has necessary life experience, is respected among members of the party and is a worthy candidate to participate in the upcoming elections.

VIII party’s congress will be held on 15 October.
