The III Tashkent International Investment Forum is scheduled for 2−3 May. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation outlining the preparations for the forum on 29 April, as reported by the press service of the head of state.

In 2022, over 1,000 foreign guests from 56 countries attended the inaugural forum in Uzbekistan. This year, nearly 2,500 people from 84 countries are expected to participate. Among them are government officials, corporate leaders, and representatives of international organizations such as the UN, EBRD, OPEC, and SCO.

The forum serves as a platform for showcasing Uzbekistan’s economic potential and facilitating agreements, the report highlighted. With over 40 scheduled events, including intergovernmental commission meetings, the program also features the launch ceremony of several projects in Uzbekistan.

The president directed to ensure a high level of organization of the forum and a “full-scale demonstration of each sector and region’s investment potential”.
