Major general Muidjon Tohiriy became chairman of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, according to the committee website. Prior to this appointment, Muidjon Tohiriy headed Presidential security service.
Former chairman of the committee colonel Zohid Dusanov, who occupied this position since 2011, returned to the post of the head of the Department for countering tax, currency crimes and legalization of criminal income under the Prosecutor General’s Office (he worked on the same position in 2008−2011).
On this post, Zohid Dusanov replaced major general Shuhrat Uzakov.
