Two earthquakes were felt in Tashkent and other cities of Uzbekistan at 19:19 and at 19:25 on Friday.

Both quakes had an epicenter located 410 km to the east of the capital on the territory of China, near border with Tajikistan.

According to Tashkent seismic station, the first quake had a magnitude of 5.6, and the second 6.8.

The intensity of the quakes made up 3 degrees on MSK scale in Tashkent, 3−4 in Andijan and Namangan, and 4 in Fergana, the station told Gazeta.uz.
