Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message to President of India Pranab Kumar Mukherjee in connection with numerous victims as a result of train derailment near Kanpur.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep condolences and words of sincere sympathy to the families and friends of those killed and injured, press service of Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
More than 140 people have been killed and about 200 injured as a result of the derailment of an express train in the state of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night.
