President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a visit to Uzbekistan on 17−18 November, the website of the Turkish leader said.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Samarkand, where first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov was buried.
President of Turkey will meet Acting President and prime minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The two leaders will exchange views on Uzbek-Turkish relations as well as regional and international developments.
Visit to Uzbekistan is seen in Turkey as an important opportunity to improve and strengthen relations between the countries.
