Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a telephone conversation on 3 November.
According to UzA, during the conversation, which was held on the initiative of the Kazakh side, parties exchanged views on issues of development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations in political, trade, economic and humanitarian fields.
The sides said they were satisfied with implementation of bilateral agreements reached between ministries, government agencies, business entities and other organizations recently.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Nursultan Nazarbayev also discussed some issues of regional and international character, while stressing the need to continue consultations on issues of mutual interest.
