Collapse of a building in Tashkent on Wednesday killed three persons and injured two, Emergency Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The incident, which took place at 11:30 am in Farabi street, Shaykhontohur district, could have been caused by violation of construction norms.
Emergency staff rescued two people and recovered three bodies from the building.
The area of the incident has been cordoned off, and the rescuers are clearing the rubbles.
An investigation has been launched to identify the causes of the collapse.
