More than 20,000 types of products manufactures in Uzbekistan are presented at the 10th International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange held at Tashkent’s Uzexpocentre. The event, which will last until 31 October, has gathered some 2,000 domestic producers and over 1,300 foreign representatives.
The fair sectors include mining, car and agricultural machinery building, electrical, chemical, pharmaceutical, light and food industries, construction materials, transport and others.
Vice prime minister Ulugbek Rozukulov, opening the fair, called the event an effective platform for business networking and international partnership.
At last year’s industrial fair, contracts worth 12 trillion soums, as well as agreements with foreign companies worth 85 billion US dollars were signed. This year, the figures are expected to be higher.
