Delegation of Uzbekistan will pay a return visit to Osh, Kyrgyzstan, on 26 October, headed by deputy prime minister Adham Ikramov, Foreign Ministry press service announced.

This follows the visit by a large delegation of Kyrgyzstan, with first vice premier Muhammetkaliy Abulgaziyev as a head, to Andijan region of Uzbekistan on 1 October, when a memorandum on border cooperation was signed.

The group that will visit the neighbouring Osh region, will include representatives of Presidential Administration, government of Uzbekistan, Foreign Ministry, hokims (governors) of Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana regions, heads of various state and public structures, self-governing bodies, business circles, farmers, scientists, professionals from the fields of education, culture and art, as well as students.

The delegation of Kyrgyzstan is expected to include heads of Batken, Jalal-Abad and Osh regions. The sides will discuss development of bilateral relations and cross-border cooperation.
