43rd session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Foreign Ministers Council starts in Tashkent on 18 October, Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry press service said.
Representatives of over 50 member states and observer countries, as well as international and regional organizations will participate in the forum.
The Tashkent session will mark the official start of Uzbekistan’s one-year presidency in the Foreign Ministers Council until the next session in 2017.
The slogan of the Uzbek presidency is “Education and enlightenment are paths to peace and creativity”.
